Luna and I have had a rough few weeks. Three weeks ago, the day we returned home from a trip, I realized something was very very wrong with Luna’s leg. As it turned out, Luna had broken her hip. A freak accident, probably from a fall in the house. She needed a terrible surgery. So many friends and family helped with the expense so she could become well. I painted this image as a gift for my vet who did an awesome job on the surgery. Today, after three weeks of healing in our bedroom, she has been given permission to be a free kitty in the house again! Yay :)
